Valve seats are cut on a Compact Serdi Precision Ball Sphere 5 angles and flow radius cutters are used. K-line guides can be fitted. Surfaces are machined on Van Norman's Multi Cutter Mill designed for racing finishes. Valve throats are cut on RVR and spring seats deck height checked. Porting & Polishing is performed using various methods. Moe Engines has 22 years experience in head development and to the customer that means we give good head. Balancing is done on a Van Norman machine, the balancing factors are based on years of experience. Blue printing is a must on every racing engine. Crank shaft is a 4340 ESP Conrods are Hbeam sportsman Pistons are CP race forged Camshaft is a custom roller steel billet. Roller lifters are endurance series and Bearings are competition Clevite. Balancing is done to perfections x - static. Heads are cast iron - Proaction or Dart. Extensive port work and Flow bench testing. Valves are Ferrea comp plus severe duty. Valve springs are endurance series Manton or Isky Daytona. Retainers are Isky or Crane titanium. Pushrods are '080' thick wall race series. All machining is done using stress plates & Sunnen hone. All engines are blue printed and set up to suit the racing demands of today. Both Street and Strip engines utilise proven combinations. Tailor made engines are what we specialise in and every engine is designed for maximum performance and efficiency. Custom cams are one of our specialties, and we have access to Dyno simulations and real Dyno testing and flow bench testing and track testing.
